“Despite everything?” He was staring at her open-mouthed. “Sorry to say but you were way too desperate back then!” He sank in his chair disappointed.

“Done with your conclusions?” Ishana couldn’t help but feel irritated by his remark. He sat up straight, nervously.

“By the way, you are right. I was that desperate back then!” Ishana sighed and continued.
